Client reports

Documentation · Pro reporting

Turn published article results into a client-ready PDF.

Select the optional client in Single Article before generation. Published main and Tier 2 articles are recorded under that client, ready for a branded PDF with complete article URLs and all supplied keyword links.

Available in Pro · Drafts are excluded · PDFs are generated on demand

The reporting model

Use one clear chain from client to final result

Use Client publications for a history of the selected client’s main and Tier 2 articles. Existing gigs still group assignments and support their own reports.

CLIENT

Identify the recipient

A client requires a name and receives an automatic Client ID. An email address is optional and useful for internal administration, but it is not printed in the PDF.

GIG

Define the delivery

Every gig belongs to one existing client. Its date, product count and optional description explain what was ordered and remain attached to every result collected for that gig.

RESULT

Record only completed work

Choose the client beside Destination website in Single Article. Successful main and Tier 2 publications appear in that client’s history. No client is also a valid choice; saving a draft does not count as delivery.

Private results storage Clients, gigs and result records are private WordPress data. Report generation does not include article content, prompts, API keys, website credentials or the client’s email address.

Platform Settings · Company details

Set the sender identity before sharing the first report

PDF branding is platform-wide. Configure it once on the central SitePublisher AI installation, then every newly generated client report uses the latest saved company details.

Enter the required identity

01
Open Platform Settings

Go to SitePublisher AI → Platform Settings and find the PDF branding section named Company details.

02
Company name

Enter the required sender name exactly as it should appear after “Prepared by” and in the page footer.

03
Choose a logo

Select an optional image from the WordPress Media Library. The PDF scales it automatically without changing the original.

Complete and approve the style

04
Add optional details

Enter an address and short company description. Empty optional fields are omitted cleanly.

05
Set the brand color

Use a valid hexadecimal color for headings and accents, or leave it empty to retain the SitePublisher AI purple.

06
Preview and save

Select Preview company details, inspect every field and then choose Save company details. Any later edit requires a fresh preview.

Branding is applied at download time Changing the company profile does not rewrite a PDF already saved on your computer. Download a new report when you want the current logo, address, description or color.

Clients & Gigs

Create a client and organize assignments when needed

Open SitePublisher AI → Clients & Gigs. The page shows totals for clients, gigs and published results, followed by separate preview-first forms and production tables.

01

Create a client

  • Select New in the Client form
  • Enter the required Name client
  • Add Email client only when useful
  • Select Preview client and verify the no-write summary
  • Choose Save client to receive the automatic Client ID
02

Create a gig

  • Select the existing Client
  • Choose the required Date gig
  • Set Products gig from 1 to 40 backlinks
  • Add an optional Description gig
  • Preview the gig, then save it for an automatic Gig ID

Make reports self-explanatory

Use a specific gig description.

Describe the campaign, month, package or delivery scope in language the client will understand. The same description appears in the results window and PDF.

Assign before generation

Choose the client in Single Article.

The optional Client selector sits beside Destination website. Make this choice before adding the brief to the queue. You can always work without a client.

01 · SELECT

Start with the right client

Create the client in Clients & Gigs if needed, then select it in the Single Article brief. Add the topic, category and up to five keyword and URL pairs.

02 · OPTIONAL TIER 2

Add supporting destinations

Enable Create Tier 2 articles after publishing and choose a website for each supporting article. These articles inherit the main article’s client.

03 · PUBLISH

Record confirmed results

Review and publish the main article. Supporting jobs start after successful publication; their completed results also appear under the client. Follow progress in Tier 2 Links.

If a destination publication succeeded but a local result is missing, check the published URL and refresh the client history before retrying. Do not create a second article solely to repair a reporting record.

Client publications · Results & PDF

Export one publication or a selection.

Open SitePublisher AI → Clients & Gigs and find Client publications. Select the client, then search by title, URL or keyword when needed.

01

Inspect the history

Review each published title, complete URL, date and all supplied keyword and target URL pairs. Type / Main article identifies supporting content and its parent article.

02

Select the results

Use the PDF action on a row for one article. For several results, check the rows and choose Download selected PDF. Select all applies to publications on the current page.

03

Review the downloaded PDF

The Article Publication Results report includes company branding, the client, full publication URLs and up to five keyword and URL pairs. Main and Tier 2 relationships stay visible. Review the file before sharing.

Existing gig reports remain availableOpen Results in the Gigs database and choose Create PDF with results for a gig-based report. Supplied keyword and target URL pairs are included. Company details come from Platform Settings; download a fresh PDF after changing your branding.

Maintenance & safeguards

Keep the database accurate without losing completed results

Client and gig changes are preview-first. Editing a gig retains its stored results, while deletion rules protect the relationship between clients, gigs and reports.

EDIT

Update with a fresh preview

Select Edit in the Clients database or Gigs database, change the fields and preview again. A changed form invalidates its earlier approval. Existing gig results stay attached after an edit.

GIG

Remove a gig deliberately

Deleting a gig removes it and its stored results from the active database and PDF. The record is moved to the WordPress trash instead of being immediately erased.

LOCK

Remove dependencies first

A client with linked gigs cannot be deleted. Remove the relevant gigs first, confirm that their active results may disappear and only then delete the client record.

  • Duplicate protection: publishing the same destination post or URL into the same gig updates its existing result instead of adding another line.
  • Capacity: each gig supports up to 500 valid result records; the ordered product field itself ranges from 1 to 40.
  • Access: client, gig, results and PDF features require SitePublisher AI Pro and an administrator with permission to manage the plugin.
  • Delivery check: verify the downloaded PDF locally before sending it to a client.

Common reporting problems

Match the missing result to the correct stage

For a missing client result, check the selected client, the publication status and the current Client publications filter. For a PDF issue, also check the company profile.

RESULT MISSING

Check the publication confirmation

Confirm that the main or Tier 2 article was published successfully and that the intended client was selected in the Single Article brief. Refresh Client publications and check the client and search filters.

WRONG BRANDING

Save Company details again

Open Platform Settings, preview the full company profile and save it. Then download a new PDF; an older local file cannot update itself.

DR NOT SET

Review the Website Profile

Add or correct the Ahrefs DR value for the publication’s destination website, then reopen Results or generate a new PDF.

Need a deeper diagnosis?

Keep the Gig ID and publication URL together.

When requesting support, include the Gig ID, client name, exact public URL, publication status and the complete warning shown after publication.

Client reports FAQ

Report only the work you deliberately assign

These answers cover privacy, updates, limits and the relationship between publications and client PDFs.

Is client reporting available in Free?

No. Clients, gigs, stored publication results and branded PDF downloads are Pro features.

Does the client email address appear in the PDF?

No. The optional email is kept with the private client record for administration. The PDF identifies the client by name.

What exactly counts as a result?

Successful main and Tier 2 publications assigned to a client are recorded with their final title, complete URL and keyword links. Select the client before generation. A draft does not count as a published result.

Can I edit a gig without losing its results?

Yes. Editing the client, date, products or description keeps the current results attached, provided you preview and save the updated gig normally.

Will publishing the same post twice create two results?

Not when the destination website and post ID or the complete URL match an existing result in that gig. SitePublisher AI updates that line. Never republish solely to repair a local report-storage warning.

What happens when I change the company branding?

Every new PDF uses the latest saved company profile. Files already downloaded to your computer remain unchanged.

Is the generated PDF stored in WordPress?

No. It is generated on demand and sent as a download. The underlying private client, gig and result records remain stored for later exports.

Where does Ahrefs DR come from?

It comes from the Website Profile associated with the publication’s destination. The current profile value is used when available; otherwise the result displays “Not set.”
