Changelog
New features, improvements and fixes in SitePublisher AI Free and Pro. The latest release appears first.
Pro 2.3.4
Natural keyword links in article content, with clearer checks before publication.
- Natural keyword links: links use existing phrases in the article body, choosing the occurrence closest to the middle.
- No added reading references: automatic “Read also”, “Read here” and similar link-only text has been removed in every language. Existing phrases outside the former middle zone are used when needed.
- Clearer writing instructions: primary and secondary keywords are integrated into flowing, relevant body sentences.
- Review before publication: a missing requested keyword is reported instead of adding artificial text or silently omitting its link.
- Existing published articles are not changed automatically.

Pro 2.3.2
Clearer Bulk Automation statuses and accurate retry counters.
- Consistent queue colours: blue means queued or processing, green means published or scheduled on WordPress, and red means an error or review is required.
- Stable publication status: active publication stays blue during intermediate quality checks. Older status responses no longer revert the queue display.
- Clearer attempt counts: manual retries retain generation attempts. Publication attempts are shown separately, with a total generation count across renewed retry cycles.
Pro 2.3.1
Tier 2 publishing, connected client results and a simpler article workflow.
New in this Pro release series
- Tier 2 Links. Create up to ten supporting articles per main article, with destination website defaults, AI featured images and links to the main URL. Search and filter the workspace, process individual or selected rows, and retain Tier 2 groups for up to six months.
- Single Article integration. Choose an optional client beside Destination website before generation. Add supporting destinations to create Tier 2 articles after the main article is successfully published. Track the same jobs in Tier 2 Links.
- Up to five keyword links. Add extra keyword and URL pairs one at a time in Single Article. Supplied pairs appear in client publication history and PDF reports.
- Clients & Gigs. View published main and Tier 2 articles under each client, including the parent article relationship. Export one row or selected results to a branded PDF with complete article URLs and keyword links.
- Faster Bulk Automation. Add Approved to Queue validates the plan in the background and shows the queue. The separate Preview plan button and preview table have been removed.
New in 2.3.1
- Writing-style dropdowns. Tone, Audience and Reading level use Website or platform defaults until Custom for this article is selected. Overrides apply to the article and do not change saved Website Settings.
Improvements and fixes
- Contextual keyword links are positioned around the middle of articles in Single Article, Bulk Automation and Tier 2.
- Consistent status colours: blue for active work, green for publication and red for errors, with labels for waiting and review states.
- Improved Tier 2 image generation, publication-status handling and retry recovery.
This release is for Pro. Annual and Founders Lifetime customers receive the same Pro package through their protected download and update channel. OpenAI usage is billed separately. Read the Tier 2 guide or learn about client PDFs.
Free 2.0.3 & Pro 2.1.5
Update notifications by default, with your saved choices preserved.
- Free and Pro: update checks are enabled when no preference has been saved. Previously saved choices, including disabling checks, remain unchanged.
- Available releases appear in the normal WordPress plugin updates. Automatic installation remains controlled by your WordPress settings; this release does not enable it.
- Pro: “Check for updates now” now refreshes the check and uses the protected Pro update channel. Pro updates still require an active licence.
- Clearer explanations under Platform Settings → Updates & Privacy. Installation reporting and the public website credit remain separate options and off by default.
Already using an older build with update checks disabled? Enable checks once or install the new ZIP manually. A previously saved choice to disable checks stays respected after upgrading.
Free 2.0.2 & Pro 2.1.4
More choice for article writing and AI image generation.
New in Free and Pro
- GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna. Two additional text models are available in the model selector.
- GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst. Choose the new image model in Single Article and image generators. Pro also supports this choice in Bulk Automation.
- Image choices stay with queued articles. The selected model is saved with the job. In Pro, it applies to both featured and center article AI images.
Improvements
- Existing defaults preserved. GPT-5.5 remains the default text model and GPT Image 2 remains the default image model. Previously queued jobs keep their existing image behavior.
- Free local article generation. Improved prompt handling when generating articles for the current WordPress website.
OpenAI API usage is billed separately through your own OpenAI account. Model availability depends on your API access. Free and Pro feature limits remain unchanged.
Version 2.0.1
Optional updates, privacy controls and a clearer path to explore Pro.
Added
- Updates & Privacy settings. A new tab under Platform Settings gives you separate controls for update checks, installation reporting and a public website credit. All three are off by default.
- Updates through WordPress. Enable update checks to receive future Free releases from sitepublisherai.de through the normal WordPress update screen. Automatic installation remains under your WordPress settings.
- Optional installation reporting. Share the plugin version, build and active status with a random installation token. Reports do not include your website URL, email address, API key, articles or visitor data. Reporting stops when you opt out or deactivate the plugin.
- Optional footer credit. Add a “Powered by SitePublisher AI” link to your website footer. The credit is never inserted into article content.
- Explore Pro. Find the Free and Pro comparison from the plugin menu, dashboard and WordPress plugin list, with a link to the pricing page.
Improved
- Verified update downloads. The update service checks the package identity, WordPress and PHP requirements, and SHA-256 checksum before an update can be installed.
- Installation reporting controls. Added opt-out handling, deactivation handling and protection against reusing an installation token after a website is cloned or moved.
- Release versioning. The public version is now 2.0.1, allowing WordPress to distinguish this release from 2.0.0.
Updating an existing Free installation? Upload the new ZIP through Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin and choose to replace the installed version. Keep the existing plugin installed during the update to retain its settings and stored data. See our Privacy Policy for details about the optional services.
